Netflix takes La Velada global for three years

Netflix will stream Ibai Llanos's La Velada del Año worldwide for three years, beginning with the event's 2027 edition.

“Netflix will stream Ibai Llanos's La Velada del Año worldwide for three years, beginning with the event's 2027 edition. The creator-led boxing spectacle is already among the largest Spanish-language streaming events, combining sport, entertainment and a powerful online community. The agreement brings the 2027, 2028 and 2029 editions onto Netflix, extending a digital-native franchise to the platform's global audience. For broadcasters, it shows how creator-owned live formats can become premium international rights properties without first passing through traditional television.”
